Also includes recommendations concerning presidential appointments (1943-1952); records of contributions to the Democratic Party campaign fund for the presidential campaign of 1944; records of the Publicity Division including correspondence, reports, and other papers relating to the committee's radio and television activities (1940-1952); and "Files of the facts" pamphlets distributed by the Research Division in connection with the 1948 presidential campaign.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt was born on January 30, 1882, in Hyde Park, New York. He was the son of James (lawyer, financier) and Sara (Delano) Roosevelt.
